For more than 4000 years, Turmeric has been a staple element of Ayurveda, which emphasizes the holistic wellness of the body and mind. In this new and intensely-moisturizing formula, Turmeric Oil, known to be loaded with powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, is blended with non-GMO Soy Butter. The resulting product is a rich, smooth butter with a dense viscosity that delivers superior performance in protecting the skin barrier and in helping prevent cell damage.

Aromatic Description: Mild turmeric scent.

Common Uses: This butter can be added to creams or lotions to make them ultra-rich and to increase their emollience. Turmeric Butter exhibits excellent spreadability on the skin, making it an ideal massage butter as well as an ideal carrier for other deeply-hydrating ingredients.

Recommended Usage:
• Lotions & Creams: 3-20 %
• Balms: 3-100 %
• Bar Soaps: 5-20 %

When adding butter to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm them until the texture can be incorporated into the final product. To add this butter to a cream or lotion, first create a vortex in your preferred moisturizer using a hand blender, then drizzle the melted butter to fully incorporate it. For addition to soaps, the general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per pound or 15 g/k. As with most raw materials, results may vary. Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that small lab-scale batches be made prior to any commercial manufacturing.

Recommended Storage: This butter should be stored in cool temperatures (below 25 °C) away from light and moisture in an air-tight container. The product may become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g., 36 °C), but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality.

Shelf Life: This butter has a shelf-life of 18 months when stored properly.
